This study comprehensively compares the current construction status, location distribution and industrial layout of China's foreign economic and trade and industrial parks, and analyzes the role played and problems encountered by foreign economic and trade and industrial parks in China's outward direct investment. On this basis, we propose policies and measures to further promote the healthy development of overseas economic, trade and industrial parks, and provide suggestions and guidance for Chinese enterprises' outbound direct investment, overseas economic, trade and industrial parks and the construction of the Belt and Road.
