A lecture provided by Mr. Michael C. Mitchell, CEO of MCM International Group. Mr. Mitchell is an internationally recognized destination, attraction and lifestyle planner. He will share the strategies for cities and developers to use in cultural tourism projects to improve an area’s economy, brand and future growth. Professor Wei ZHANG from GSM will be the host the lecture. Guests are very welcome to give their opinions and ask question at the Q&A session.

Mr. Mitchellis an internationally recognized destination, attraction and lifestyle planner. He was educated at University of Pennsylvania and Portland State University. He was awarded Honorary Doctorate Degree by the Russian Academy of Sciences. He is the guest lecturer at University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Anderson School of management and University of Southern California (USC) School of International Relations. In 1984, Mr. Mitchell founded MCM International Group Company-an international feasibility, planning and design firm.

Professor Zhangreceived his Ph.D. in Health Policy from Harvard University and M.D. from Peking Union Medical College. He was a permanent faculty of management at China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) from 2008 to 2012，and was the founding director of CEIBS Center for Health Care Policy and Management. He was also a Distinguished Bing Fellow of Health Economics at RAND (US) in 2008, and has been an adjunct faculty at Peking University School of Government.
