各人早上好。感激刘院长、感激冒书记、感激李副院长、感激翟教授，感激整个EMBA团队。各位尊敬的教人员工、各位嘉宾、各位辅导、整个毕业生同学、心爱的家人伴侣们，我极度容幸今天能和各人汇聚一堂，共享盛会。

Good morning everyone. Thank you Dean Liu. And thank you Associate Dean Li, Professor Mao, Prof Zhai and the entire Executive MBA team. Faculty members, distinguished guests, administrators, graduates, family members and friends, I am honored to be here with you for this special occasion.

在我的职业生涯中，我曾屡次踏上中国的地皮，今天可能沉新回到这片热土，我心中满怀兴奋之情。对我而言，这里已经是我进建与生涯过的处所，这里也是一个充斥勃勃朝气的处所，一个充斥着天马行空的创新思想的处所，更是一个占有着无限的可能性的处所。

In the course of my career, I traveled to China many times and I am delighted to be back. It is clear to me that this is a wonderful place to come together as a community and to learn, a place of great energy, innovation and full of possibility.

今天可能站在这里，可能同时与拉斯维加斯9888EMBA项目和北大拉斯维加斯9888-凯洛格国际EMBA项主张所有毕业生们分享这一伟大的时刻，我深感荣幸。

It is a special privilege for me to be here today with graduates from both programs–the Guanghua EMBA program and the Kellogg- Guanghua Executive MBA program.

今天，对于整个2017年度毕业生而言，是人生沉要的里程碑，你们两年来的致力进建和真诚投入在今天奏出热潮的篇章。

Today marks a wonderful milestone for all the 2017 graduates—the culmination of two years of hard work and great commitment.

今天，对你们的家人、同伴、伴侣、还有那些此刻正与你们共享喜悦的导师们来说，同样意思非凡。在他们的大力支持与耐心教导下，你们各人都已经实现了EMBA之旅，并为人生下一征程整装待发。

This is also a milestone for your families, partners, friends and mentors who are celebrating with you today. With their support and patience, you’ve reached the end of your EMBA journey and are primed for the next stage of your trajectory.

固然各人只是北大拉斯维加斯9888-凯洛格国际EMBA项主张第二个毕业班，但是两个卓越学院之间却有着20年之久的渊源。多年以来，双方的讲授人员和学堂辅导们共同努力，与所有同学共同分享知识学识、共同构建思想辅导能力、共同启发国际视野。他们的一言一行，刚好体现了合作的力量，体现了互换网络的价值。

Though this is only the second graduating class of the Guanghua–Kellogg joint program, the relationship and cooperation between the two schools is 20 years old. Over the years, the faculties and leaders of these great institutions worked together to share knowledge, thought leadership and international experience with our students. They modeled the power of collaboration and the value of networks.

在贸易环境和市场布景日趋复杂的今天，无数企业都急需相宜的辅导者——他们可能搭建起各类结构和规模的网络，无论是在多职能网络还是跨天堑网络、抑或是跨文化网络领域，他们都能阐发得得心应手。你们的使命就是成为这样的辅导者。你们将要肩负起人们的沉托，使用贸易的力量，为人们带来更多的互换联系，为更多人带来更为优良的生涯前提，让人们联结一心、共同发展。

As businesses and markets become increasingly complex, organizations need leaders who can build and succeed in networks of all shape and size - across functions, borders and cultures. The world will look to you to be those leaders. We will be counting on you to use the power of business to create more connections, improve more lives and bring us together.

四则“人生格言”

Four“life mottos”

你们各人都已经筹备好了面对21世纪带来的各种挑战，但还请各人可能允许我多说几句，在这里，我有几则“人生格言”，与各人共勉，但愿各人可能在你们接下来的人生旅程中，每次作出抉择时，都能够细细品尝一番。

I know you are well prepared to meet the challenges of the 21st century, but if you will indulge me, I’d like to offer a few“life mottos”to consider as you take the next step in your life journey.

首先，要致力做到防患未然，以争取鲜丽成就：不论是对何人而言，不论其处于什么样的专业境遇中，各人都要先在脑海中清澈勾画出自己想要达成的指标，仔细思虑过程中可能出现的挑战，预先分析好所处的情境，提前筹备好心表情况的应对步骤以备不断之需。只管各人可能不愿按我说的步骤去做，可要做到这样的充分筹备，必要各人拿出功夫静静思虑，必要各人有过硬的组织能力，也必要各人可能清澈地意识到到底什么才对自己至关沉要。

One, Aspire to achieve no unmanaged outcomes: For any personal or professional situation, envision the outcome you desire, think through potential challenges, get out ahead of the situation and pre-solve for any issues. This requires moments of deep thinking, great organization and the courage to articulate what is important to you–despite potential resistance.

其次，要器沉导师与学员之间的关系发展：导师对各人的进取成长至关沉要，由于我们各人城市必要援手，也都有灵光一闪的智慧思想必要与别人分享。我差不多每五年就更换一次个人导师。随着时光匆匆流逝，我会遇到各类各样的问题、必要各类各样的援手领导，而多多的导师美满地满足了我的要求。在我的毕生中，师生关系成为了上天赐与我的最为贵重的恩赐。

Two, Cultivate mentor and mentee relationships: Mentors matter–we all need support and we all have wisdom to offer. My personal mentors have changed every five years or so. I’ve needed different guidance over time and different mentors to meet those needs. My mentor-mentee relationships have been some of the most rewarding in my life

第三：一幼我在犯谬误之后的反映，要比谬误自身更值得器沉。各人城市犯谬误，有些谬误可能会极度严沉，而也有些谬误可能微不及路。在职业生涯中，我也犯过不少谬误。你们的导师、前辈们可能不愿提及自己已经所犯的谬误，可这些谬误肯定真实地产生过。就我的幼我经验来看，人们不会去记住这些谬误，也不会记住这些谬误的负面影响，人们会记住的是你们在面对这些情况时的态度。你们的恳切态度、你们的对峙不懈、还有你们由此给人留下的宏伟正派的形象，将会冲淡谬误造成的其他所有负面影响。

Three: Focus on your response to the“bounce or mistake”vs. the“bounce”itself: You will make mistakes. Some will be big, and some will be small. I’ve made many over my career. Your mentors and those more senior than you have also made them, even though they may not talk abut them. In my experience, people won’t remember the mistakes themselves (or the negative bounce), they will remember how you respond to thosesituations. Attitude, perseverance, standing tall supersedes all else.

最后，要有一个清澈的规划，让自己的人生充实、愉快：我入职时的第一份工作在麦肯锡公司，在那里，我每隔半年就会扪心自问：我有没有学到知识？我有没有让自己变得有价值？我有没有维持身心愉悦？

Four, plan to live a full and happy life: Every 6 months that I was at McKinsey–where I started my career - , I asked myself–Am I still learning? Am I still making an impact? Am I still having fun?

11年来，我每次这样质问自己，都能得到注定的回覆？傻搅说11年，我再次这样质问自己的时辰，却感触内心不是那么有底气了。所以，我列出了一份“40×40”的清单，即40岁前要实现的40件事件，那年我37岁。写完之后，我便起头依照清单一项一项执行。我的整个世界也随之豁然开朗。我去鉴赏了好莱坞颁奖典礼，参观了圣丹斯电影节，游历了世界各地，参与了阿斯彭思想节，等等。随后，我又做出了决定，参与了凯洛格商学院的各人庭。

For 11 years, the answers to these questions were yes. At year 11, I started to feel differently, so wrote out a 40x40 list (things I wanted to do by the time I was 40, I was 37 at the time) and started executing. My world totally opened up. I went to a Hollywood award show, Sundance film festival, travelled around the globe, attended the Aspen Ideas Festival…and I made choices that got me to Kellogg.

我深深地坚信，要想获得美满和幸福的人生必须有所规划。但我们很容易陷入日常的繁琐通例，陷入专一苦干，用职业上的成就来界说人生价值。但我们必要判断从持久来看对我们真正沉要的器材，而不定是在他人眼中沉要的器材。这样我们才可能进行有益的选择，给我们带来最大的人生幸福。也许你所想选择的路路，在旁人看来是疯狂和冒险的。但是若是你坚信，这条路路就是通向幸；独值谋税，那么请你英勇地迈开措施，致力向着远处前进。

I firmly believe that you have to plan to live a full and happy life. It is so easy to get caught up in the routine, put your head down and work, and define yourself by your professional accomplishments. Figure out what is important to you over time (not necessarily what others think is important), and make intentional choices that bring you the greatest personal happiness. You may want to walk down a path that everyone around you thinks is crazy or risky. If you have conviction that this path will make you happy, make the brave choice and take it.

手握EMBA学位，在你刻下会打开无数扇新的大门和新的机缘。鼓起勇气，把对自己最沉要的事物清澈地印在内心，把这些都当作前进路路上的指路明灯，指引着自己做出关键抉择，实现无悔人生。

With an EMBA in hand, many new doors and opportunities will be open to you. Be courageous, articulate what is most important to you and use that as your guidepost for navigating life’s big decisions.
